On this week’s episode of The Wednesday Call with Andy Albright talked about working hard to “doubt and do” instead of exercising in “doubt and fears.”
When you make a bad decision do you let it wreck your day? Instead, try to move forward after you have made a bad decision. Move forward. Keep a positive attitude and use that attitude to make good decisions. If you call a person and it doesn’t well, don’t let that carry over to the next person you call. Tell yourself the next call will be awesome and the person who answers will be a great person.
What keeps you from making phone calls? It is a lot like exercise. You don’t always want to do it, but you know it is in your best interest to do it. Just do it. Successful people don’t like working out, but they know it is necessary to live the life they want to live. Put it on your calendar and then do it. We all have choices and decisions to make. Most people struggle with it on a daily basis.
If you can find a passionate person then I will bet you your chance of success with them is much higher than if you work with a person on the fence. You have to focus on the positive and avoid the negative. People are smarter than you think. People live up or down based on the expectations that you set for them. If a person hasn’t heard “something” before then it is hard for them to “get it” until you explain it.
People will fight, flight or freeze. What will you do? Work hard to keep negative words from coming out of your mouth. Stay positive. Do most important things then get to the other stuff.
People perform better when they are happy and excited. Give them a reason to be that way by encouraging them with your words, thoughts and actions.
