On this episode of The Wednesday Call live, your guest hosts are Andy Riddle, Chris Long, Terry Edwards and Mike Hartlieb filled in for Andy Albright while he was on the road holding meetings in Texas, Georgia and Florida.
Mike Hartlieb: “I wanted to win.” Butterflies before wrestling match. Every match. Now the butterflies happen before dialing. We want to dominate not just win. Know the score and end result before you even do the work. Know it is going to happen before you even start. Don’t wait for it to happen. Make it happen.
Terry Edwards: Cheap association costs a lot. If it doesn’t cost you to be around somebody then it is probably not a good investment of your time. Develop relationships faster with people who will stretch your growth. You can see the glory, but do you know the story that came before that glory? Association takes time and money if it is worth it. If you immerse yourself in the culture it is impossible to stay the same. Invest with your head and your heart. Plant the crop that you want and not the seeds that you don’t want. The person you have to beat is actually yourself. Even when you are going through rough patches, you still have to keep working and doing. Take responsibility of your actions and goals. Focus on your attitude and activity and the results will come.

On this episode of The Wednesday Call podcast, your host Andy Albright discusses what he wishes he knew 40 years ago and is still learning now!
When it comes to mindset, we must think about establishing a set of attitudes held by a person -- including YOU!
Four things to work on FORGET ...
Forget About Your Fear
Forget About Past Failures
Forget About Your Inadequacies
Forget About Your Excuses
WHY?
When you forget about your fears, you can focus on your burning desires. This motivates you to trust again and kill the past. Don't talk about the past. The past distracts you and allows you to hope again, which moves you to working on the future.
Forgetting your past failures helps you focus on your future growth. Doing this provides you with confidence and helps to defeat your doubts. It creates your drive and initiative, which helps limit your level of procrastination to get stuff done.
When you are able to forget your inadequacies, you focus on your strengths more. This promotes your drive and you recognize the need for urgency. It empowers you to ramp up your ambition and recognize what it takes for distinction.
If you can forget your excuses, then you can focus more on "why not me." This builds discipline and you form accepting habits. Now, you can embrace the routine that is necessary to succeed and start mastering the mundane.
