On this episode of The Wednesday Call podcast, Andy Albright discusses the four Alliance brand beliefs.
The Four Alliance Brand Beliefs
1). Our Villain Belief: We must end the cycle of poverty for our generation and generations to come.
Reason to Identify a Villain: promotes a sense of community through uniting together against the common enemy of poverty.
Belief Dilemma: Determining what you are willing to sacrifice in order to change the status quo.
1). Belief Quote: "If we do not act right now by taking advantage
of the opportunity, if we do not act responsibly by introducing others to the opportunity, we risk slipping deeper into a cycle of poverty, where choice will be stripped away forever." -- Andy Albright
Moral: As in the airline analogy, we must put our mask on first (lift ourselves out of poverty), before we can assist others putting their mask on (lift others out of poverty).
2). Our External Belief: We want to help families.
Reason to Identify the External: Provides a feeling of selflessness through the families helped by "Doing The Do."
Belief Dilemma: Discovering what you can accomplish is bigger than hanging on to nonproductive and time-consuming habits.
Belief Quote: "All important work has a cost. The true test is in the 'do' and to embrace its time commitment as a service to others." -- Andy Albright
Moral: The price to pay is never more rewarding than when you are helping others achieve their goals, while at the same time, protecting the American family.
3). Our Internal Belief: We need to get free.
Reason to Identify the Internal: Exercises the power of choice through a decision to take back your life by simply "Mastering the Mundane."
Belief Dilemma: Recognizing how to get what you want will require the introduction of productive and process-driven habits.
3). Belief Quote: "Huge opportunities to help others get free surround us every day in the form of selling, recruiting and building. So get your mind right and keep your head on a swivel." -- Andy Albright
Moral: Getting your mind right refers to first, recognizing the choice to get free. Second, accepting the mundane steps to achieve such freedom. Nobody is trying to change the KFC recipe invented 68 years ago. They are just following the directions of the successful formula each and everyday.
4). Our Rational Belief: We believe everyone deserves a shot.
Reason to Identify the Rational: Produces a pledge of fairness when we introduce the opportunity to everyone.
Belief Dilemma: Deciding to change another's course in life by ignoring the temporary awkwardness of meeting a stranger and avoiding the urge to assume your friends are not interested.
4). Belief Quote: "No two people are the same. You cannot equate people, but you can provide a fair system that creates equal opportunity. The real challenge afterward is letting everyone know it exists." -- Andy Albright
Moral: Our system does not require talent as a prerequisite but rather is based on the premise that whoever shall do will prosper. Our biggest challenge moving forward will be convincing the masses that a fair place exists to make a living not based on "who you know" but "what you do."
