On this week's The Wednesday Call Podcast, Adam Katz and Kyle Keator guest hosted from AMP Studios at The Alliance headquarters in Burlington, N.C. while Andy Albright was out of the country attending a business meeting.

The Alliance was in Banff, Canada last week where a select group of agents enjoyed an all-expenses paid trip for their efforts in 2015. Keator interviewed agents in the audience who were on the Banff trip. They shared stories and memories from the trip and encouraged people to do whatever it takes to win the Mediterranean Cruise in 2017.

Katz explained how he went from being a not-so-happy school teacher to finding The Alliance and spending the last 20 years traveling the world with Andy and Jane Albright.

Keator and Katz showed an example of how investing in leads and working your warm-market contacts can help you create more cash flow. Katz cautioned people about being smart after you get your first commission check, and using it to help you keep the positive momentum going for the long haul. That first check can be the seed that helps you secure more resources to help you maximize your earning potential to continue earning commission checks. The No. 1 rule of business is to stay in business.

A big part of being successful involves planning ahead and being prepared every single day. When you schedule your day, make sure that you are spending your time on important tasks. We all have 24 hours and time is our most valuable asset. You have to fill your time up intentionally and make sure you are not wasting time. Keator stressed that when you schedule something you have to follow through and do it! “Do the Do” and follow through! You are going to make mistakes. The key is to learn from those mistakes and keep moving forward.

Katz wrapped up the show by telling people to keep finding people who are ready, willing and able. It also helps if the people you are looking for are faithful, available and teachable. The Alliance is looking for people who have a bigger dream for what their life should be. Look for those qualities in the people you talk to and ask them if they want to join our team? There is plenty of room for those who are committed to being successful with The Alliance.
