Andy Albright hosted this week’s episode of The Wednesday Call live from AMP Studios at The Alliance’s headquarters in Burlington, N.C. The studio was packed with a live audience with only one week standing between us and National Convention 2017 in Raleigh, N.C.

Today's Podcast talked about finding winners and how winners act around other people. Your W-A-N-T-T-O matters more than T-O-D-O. When you decide you want to do something, you are more likely to win. If you are doing the activity needed, the results will come. That's just how it works!

Andy landed in Burlington at 11 a.m., fresh off a two-day trip where he hit six cities in the southeast to meet with members of The Alliance. He visited people in Florida (Miami, Tampa and Jacksonville), Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi. Paul Roberts, Noelle Lewantowicz, Michael Owens, Michele Alleman and Robbie Craft joined Andy on this trip and were special guests on the show. They shared what they learned and what people should know about what is going to happen at NatCon17 next week.

Andy recognized SEAL Team 20 members and Good Samaritan Bonus winners for the month of December. The Alliance, through their hard work, will contribute more than $14,000 to a number of charities and non-profit organizations.

Andy Albright hosted the first The Wednesday Call podcast of 2017 live from AMP Studios at The Alliance’s headquarters in Burlington, N.C.

2016 is in our rear view mirror and 2017 is front and center! Andy encouraged people to forget what happened in 2016 and get focused on this year and NOW.

The Alliance is holding its National Convention on Jan. 19-22 in Raleigh, N.C. You can sign up to reserve your spot now by visiting www.AllianceEventures.com. It will be an event that you do not want to miss as we celebrate the leaders of The Alliance during a life-changing weekend.

Andy covered upcoming boot camps he is hosting in the next two weeks. You can find all upcoming information about boot camps and HotSpots meetings by visiting www.NAAHotSpots.com.

James Hill, Terry Edwards and Angela Clark joined Andy on the show to talk about what they have going on in their business.

The Alliance believes in P.I.E. Prosperity, Inspiration and Eternity. With that in mind, The Alliance offers the Good Samaritan Bonus program, which allows agents the chance to earn money for their favorite charities and non-profit organizations. We also want to inspire other people to want to do more for others too.

What will determine your success is how you deal with people and how you treat them. When you respect other people, you will elevate your status with them. It is important to recognize people, get to know them and find out more about what they have going on in life. People are not at the same spot in life and that’s OK. We are not going to judge people by their past. We are going to encourage them and cheer for them to be the best version of themselves that they can be. We care about people.

What do you care about? What do you see in people? Why do you let new people in your life? The answer should be you do it because that is how you get bigger, that’s how you grow and that’s how you make a bigger impact. To be successful at this requires finding the positives and not focusing on the negatives. You have to void sarcasm, negative thoughts and people who don’t want to be better.

Andy recognized the newest SEAL Team 20 members who qualified in December and also announced the latest Good Samaritan Bonus winners.

The main topic for today’s show centered around this: Listen and Leave or Live and Tell. Too many people go to an event or hear something and they don’t do anything with it. They don’t share it with others, they don’t take action and they don’t grow from it.

Life is about three Ps: Presence, Perspective and Process.

When you have those three things in the right position, it is powerful. An example of this is a sponge. By itself, there’s nothing that impressive about a sponge. The power of the sponge comes when it is filled up inside with water. When you soak up water in a sponge, it becomes powerful. When you remove it from a bucket of water, the water flows out and drips everywhere.

Presence: When you realize you are in the presence of something you have to be able to receive it and respond properly. When you can do that consistently, you will prosper personally and financially.

Perspective: When you are able to take bad events or things in your life and turn them into a positive, you are on the right track. You have to turn the bad things into good things. You have to have perspective in order to do that.

Process: You are in the process of growing and building character even if you don’t realize it. A lot of people live for moments and not in the moment. Life is set up to live for moments. It should be about the process. Being prepared is big. The process continues after the moment is gone even if we don’t want to admit it. Moments can be defining, but the process is how to keep the momentum. If you live for the process then you don’t have to start over after each moment. You want to ride the wave even when it seems like the momentum is over. You do that by embracing the process. You can only do what you can with what you have and where you are in life. People are looking for instant gratification and life doesn’t work that way. Most people will quit before they are developed and ready for what they were meant for in this life.

When people feel attacked they have a tendency to go into panic mode or they go on the attack. That’s not good. You have to be able to shake off negative events and figure out your next move.

Going through the fire isn’t fun, but in order to produce pure gold you have to keep enduring and going through the process. It is about the process. Your outlook on the moments that happen in life are big. You can freeze or flee. Don’t make the mistake of flipping out or overreacting. Do not stress out or panic when things are not perfect. Be ready to go through the process and know that in time, you are ready for what is headed your way.
